How are payments authorized and charged?

Payment Authorization

Once you place your order, there is an authorization for the order total placed on your method of payment. The pre-authorization validates the card number, status, funds and billing information, to ensure it matches what the bank has on file. The initial authorization will expire after a period of time and no longer show in your account. Your card won’t be charged until your item ships.

If your order contains more than one item, we may authorize and charge for each item individually if shipping from different fulfillment locations. Your statement may reflect individual charges for each item as it is shipped.
